Danny came out to do an estimate on some new flooring for me. To save some money, I decided I was going to rip up the old flooring myself. What a mess. The subfloor underneath a majority of the area was completely rotted out. Badly. When Danny showed up, I was visibly stressed. I knew he didn’t sign up for doing any major subflooring work and I was afraid he was going to turn around and walk away. Instead, he assured me that everything would be fine. And it was.

I was quoted for what it would cost to also replace the subfloor, which was more than reasonable, and although it added about a week to the project, Danny was extremely professional, extremely stress free (which helped me out a lot), and the end result was way better than I was expecting.

Because I was doing a complete remodel of my house (and trying to do what work I could myself), Danny offered his knowledge to set me in the right direction, and it helped immensely.

A few weeks after he wrapped up, he came back out and fixed a tile that I had broken when I dropped a tool on it.

Danny gutted our master bathroom and closet and even removed a wall. He tiled the entire bathroom including a shower, which was previously a tub. The estimate was spot on and did not increase. The cost was comparable to other estimates. We ultimately decided to go with Evangeline, since we could tell Danny knows what he is doing and we know from previous experience that quality work is hard to find!

Vanessa has been great with connecting us with other professionals to help us with the project like choosing our tile and coordinating grout, etc… She returns calls and texts promptly and helped coordinate any parts of the job not done by Evangeline.

Evangeline Construction was amazing to work with on our living room renovation! Prompt communication, arrived on schedule, thoroughly covered and protected everything while working. Danny’s experience is evident from the quality results achieved despite the challenges of a 1930s home. The 8′ ceiling was cracked due to a poorly supported beam in the old construction, likely a renovation 40+ years ago. Danny was able to correct the support and raise the ceiling back to its original 10′ to match the other rooms. New crown, baseboards and door frames along with updated lighting completely transformed the room into an open and inviting space. I highly recommend Evangeline Construction and plan to work with them on our next renovation!

Vanessa and Danny were great throughout the entire process from estimate until the completion of the project. Danny started the job when they said he would and finished sooner than expected. Danny worked full days and was not going back and forth between our job and someone else’s like many other contractors do. Danny personally did the job and did not subcontract out the work or have random people working for him. He cleaned up every day before he left, which we really appreciated since we have allergies and asthma that become aggravated by construction dust. We are very happy with the quality of work and confident our bathroom will stand the test of time.

I had a need to remodel kitchen in my condo on Daniel Island. I called different companies and ads and had total 5 visits and 4 quotes for the future work. I picked Danny with Evangeline Construction because he was the only one who was able to answer all my construction and design questions (I had a lot of them). He was very knowledgeable and obviously very experienced. He also gave me several ideas and suggestions right during the first visit. The work he did for me was as follows: My kitchen island/bar was ridiculously tall, I couldn’t even find anywhere that tall chairs for the bar. Danny cut down and leveled that kitchen island. He also assembled and installed RTA kitchen cabinets, installed butcher block countertops, installed subway tiles. He also advised on the correct grout color for the tiles. Installed new kitchen sink. And he painted the kitchen afterward. All work was done in 4 days total, which was very impressive to me! The quality of work is outstanding! I highly recommend Danny for any remodel project!

Danny and Vanessa are the best contractors in the state. My wife and I had four different contractors quote the remodeling of our master bath and a partial remodel of our hall bath.When we met Danny and Vanessa we knew we had found the contractors for us. Danny was outstanding! He was punctual and did an amazing job. Cleaned up completely and went above and beyond to get a new door to fit in an old house frame. Can’t say enough about his work. The project involved removing load-bearing walls, relocating a bathroom, and reframing the kitchen and living room. His carpentry skills are top notch.
