Absolutely recommend Danny! He came in and took over a project that was started by another contractor who failed to show up time after time. Danny shows up first thing in the morning, works all day and cleans up after himself. Excellent worth ethic and a consistently high quality of workmanship. Danny installed crown molding, hardwood floors in the living room and tile in the kitchen and bath. He completed all these projects weeks before other companies were even available to come out. I am very happy with the upgrades in my home and highly recommend him. Don’t waste your time looking for the least expensive option in town…you get what you pay for. Danny just installed a kitchen backsplash for us and did an excellent job. He was very efficient, got the job done quickly and cleaned up the work area very well when the job was complete. He is a friendly, dependable and hard working guy. Very easy to work with and will be the first call I make when future projects arise. Also would like to mention his Vanessa as this is a family business. I worked with her to get an estimate, schedule the project and various calls / texts before & during the project. She was very helpful, friendly and responded quickly to calls & texts.

I had a need to remodel kitchen in my condo on Daniel Island. I called different companies and ads and had total 5 visits and 4 quotes for the future work. I picked Danny with Evangeline Construction because he was the only one who was able to answer all my construction and design questions (I had a lot of them). He was very knowledgeable and obviously very experienced. He also gave me several ideas and suggestions right during the first visit. The work he did for me was as follows: My kitchen island/bar was ridiculously tall, I couldn’t even find anywhere that tall chairs for the bar. Danny cut down and leveled that kitchen island. He also assembled and installed RTA kitchen cabinets, installed butcher block countertops, installed subway tiles. He also advised on the correct grout color for the tiles. Installed new kitchen sink. And he painted the kitchen afterward. All work was done in 4 days total, which was very impressive to me! The quality of work is outstanding! I highly recommend Danny for any remodel project!

TATIANA– DANIEL ISLAND

Danny came out to do an estimate on some new flooring for me. To save some money, I decided I was going to rip up the old flooring myself. What a mess. The subfloor underneath a majority of the area was completely rotted out. Badly. When Danny showed up, I was visibly stressed. I knew he didn’t sign up for doing any major subflooring work and I was afraid he was going to turn around and walk away. Instead, he assured me that everything would be fine. And it was.

I was quoted for what it would cost to also replace the subfloor, which was more than reasonable, and although it added about a week to the project, Danny was extremely professional, extremely stress free (which helped me out a lot), and the end result was way better than I was expecting.

Because I was doing a complete remodel of my house (and trying to do what work I could myself), Danny offered his knowledge to set me in the right direction, and it helped immensely.

A few weeks after he wrapped up, he came back out and fixed a tile that I had broken when I dropped a tool on it.

Evangeline Construction was amazing to work with on our living room renovation! Prompt communication, arrived on schedule, thoroughly covered and protected everything while working. Danny’s experience is evident from the quality results achieved despite the challenges of a 1930s home. The 8′ ceiling was cracked due to a poorly supported beam in the old construction, likely a renovation 40+ years ago. Danny was able to correct the support and raise the ceiling back to its original 10′ to match the other rooms. New crown, baseboards and door frames along with updated lighting completely transformed the room into an open and inviting space. I highly recommend Evangeline Construction and plan to work with them on our next renovation!

Danny is a talented, responsible, and trust-worthy contractor. He remodeled our home in Mount Pleasant within a strict time frame. The project involved removing load-bearing walls, relocating a bathroom, and reframing the kitchen and living room. His carpentry skills are top notch. He was also very pleasant to work with and super hard working. I almost wish we had more remodeling to do in our house so that we could work with him again. I would recommend him to anyone.

I am beyond thrilled with our completed project! Danny was very professional, personable, and very easy to work with. I was very impressed with his diligence and work ethic. He is meticulous with a strong attention to detail. He takes pride in his work and provides quality workmanship! This was evident when he spent hours researching materials to match our project. Other estimates I received included materials that would be “close” and was told I should be satisfied with similar, as there was nothing matching available. Danny was persistent and found a supplier to manufacture the material to match! Danny arrived first thing each morning and often worked until dusk. I was extremely impressed with how neat and confined he kept his work area. He did not even place anything in our garbage cans. In the past other contactors have loaded up our garbage bins without even asking, leaving us without any room. It was a pleasure working with Danny and I would highly recommend this company.

Danny arrived on time and immediately focused on the job. I don’t even think he took a lunch break. His work is beautiful. He used equipment that I’ve never seen a tiler use, in order to make the tile level. I am impressed and intend to use this company again for other jobs.

Danny and Vanessa are absolutely phenomenal!! They remodeled my master bathroom and I just can’t say enough good things about the work. He has an incredible eye for details and suggested things I had not thought about. Vanessa keeps all the jobs running like a tight ship- I’m just thrilled and highly recommend!!!!

I can’t say enough about Evangeline construction. I hired them to completely gut and install a new spa tiled shower and it came out fabulous. Danny did an amazing job quite the perfectionist I might add which the end result is exactly what I wanted .
